What is a cable plow?
A cable plow (or plough) is a heavy machine that installs flexible tubing or cable beneath the ground without the need for digging a trench. Cable plows are the ultimate industrial solution for the fast and efficient installation of copper cable, fibre optics, and pipe. A BRON cable plow can work at depths of up to 72 inches.

Custom Backplates
Our cable plows come with a custom backplate or mounting plate based on the machine the plow will be mounted to. Bulldozers, tractors with CVT drivelines and in some instances 3 point hitch mounting available.
Hydraulic Shaker Box
Vibration for these cable plows is created through the Hydraulic Shaker Box. The cable plow can be operated statically as the vibration is used as required and is also adjustable.
Attitude (Pitch) Adjustment
The Attitude Cylinder allows the cable plow operator to adjust the pitch of the blade fore and aft while plowing. This allows the operator to adjust to different soil conditions and the different topography.
Hydraulic Adjustable Blade
The Hydraulic Adjustable Blade allows the operator to hydraulically raise or lower the blade based on the depth of the installation.

Cable Reel Carrier
Frame or Blade mounted Telescopic Cable Reel Carriers have the ability to carry more than one reel on the cable plow. Cable/pipe size and weight along with reel size will dictate the number of reels that can be carried.
Guards and Teeth
Various size guards & teeth are available on our cable plows based on the diameter of the product that is being installed. The guards & teeth mount to the blade and create the appropriate opening in the ground for the chute to penetrate and are easy to change for different installations.
Slider Chute
Slider Chute mounts to the blade of the cable plow and is the final alignment for the product to the installation chute. Two stock sizes available 8" or 12"
Vibratory Option
Vibration for these cable plows is created through the Hydraulic Shaker Box. The plow can be operated statically as the vibration is used as required and is also adjustable. Available as option on our Static Plows
Installation Chutes
Custom Chutes are available based on the product being installed. Chutes installing multiple products available upon request. Product specifications required. Sand Hopper Chutes also available.
Fairleads
Fairleads align the product being installed to the chute for precise installation. Available in steel or rubber. Sizes include 8" to 40".
Warning Tape Holder & Feed Tube
Adjustable tape holder & feed tube provides installation of warning tape above the cable or fibre installation at various depths.
Power Rewind
Provides a figure 8 as the cable/line comes on or off the reel, helping to prevent damage to the cable or line.
